There are some fathers who are doing a great job being actively supportive of their children. This however, does not change the fact that there are many mothers who are struggling to raise children, and especially teenagers alone.

There was a time when mothers who were single-handedly raising their children enjoyed respect and empathy from those children. Sadly, that respect and empathy seems to be increasingly fading away.
