Dambe, Galenamotlhale doubtful for DRC tie

Zebras goalkeeper, Kabelo Dambe and midfielder, Lesego Galenamotlhale are doubtful as the national team prepares to take on the DRC in a COSAFA Cup semi-final tie at the Sam Nujoma Stadium this evening. Kick-off is 8:30pm.

The COSAFA Cup represents coach, Peter Butler with the remaining chance to salvage silverware as his reign moves to a close. The Englishman’s contract expires in March 2017, and with the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations campaigns ending in disappointment, the COSAFA Cup has assumed improved significance.

Butler said Dambe and Galenamotlhale, both who limped off in the Zebras’ victory against Namibia on Sunday, were a doubt.
