FRANCISTOWN: Dreams of farmers in the North East District (NED) were shattered overnight after baboons and monkeys wreaked havoc on their farms. Over the years, farmers were struggling with elephants that destroyed their crops.

He said baboons and monkeys target maize and sorghum and usually strike at night and early in the morning when farmers are not around.
