Investigations into the case of freelance journalist, Sonny Serite and his co-accused Abueng Sebola have been completed. The file has been submitted to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the case is expected to get interesting come May 10.

This was revealed in court yesterday when the two appeared before Extension II Magistrate Ntobizodwa Ncube. The magistrate heard that the investigating officer submitted the file to the DPP on Monday and that the prosecution has not had time to peruse through the file.

The prosecution has asked for 14 days to peruse through the file. However Ncube ordered that they avail the file to the defence counsel, Martin Dingake by Friday this week.
