Crippling badminton fight

According to information reaching Mmegi Sport, the president took the decision without the involvement of other committee members. BBA public relations officer, Modisaotsile Badubi has also resigned. Speaking to Mmegi Sport yesterday, Badubi said it was difficult for him to work with a committee that did not care about the welfare of the members. He said it was not possible to have tournaments due to some challenges. He said there were no local tournaments for players that are not in the national team. Badubi said even national team players needed local tournaments to gauge themselves.

“The reason I could not continue being part of such a committee is entirely because of the tournament organiser and the treasurer. The treasurer would withhold funds for no reason, frustrating players during camps as well as frustrating other committee members,” said Badubi.
