Fishing suspension for Lake Ngami continues

Fish Protection Regulations, Statutory Instrument No.41 of 2008 revoked, and Extension of fishing suspension for Lake Ngami

The public is hereby informed that the Fish Protection Regulations 2016, Statutory Instrument No.16 of 2016 have been published in the Government Gazette dated 19th February 2016. With the coming into force of the new regulations, the Fish Protection Regulations, Statutory Instrument No.41 of 2008 are now revoked.

All permits and licences issued under the old regulations ceased to be valid from 19th February 2016.
