MYSC gives update on BOT50 preparations

The Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Thapelo Olopeng, on Tuesday briefed the media about the ongoing preparations for Botswanaís 50th anniversary celebrations scheduled for September 30 at the National Stadium.

Olopeng said since appointing the board that would oversee the preparations, they had coordinated all activities in a satisfactory manner. As part of the entertainment activities, BOT50 would involve all musicians and the artists would perform at all the 16 districts.

He said he requested the Gaborone City Council to clean the city because it would be the main centre of attraction.
