A volleyball dream born from athletics ashes

During her days at Zwenshambe Junior Secondary School from 2004 to 2006, Chada Majaha was one of the school’s best runners. She went on to represent her school at the Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA) games in sprints and field events.

Born in Francistown on January 13, 1990, Majaha never envisaged she would one day become a top volleyball player.

The first-born in a family of four, Majaha has the right height (1.68 metres) to succeed in volleyball and has not wasted time establishing herself as one of the leading players.
