First Division North league committee chairperson, Eatametse Olopeng will step down from his position at the end of the season, but has denied intentions to challenge Tebogo Sebego for the Botswana Football Association (BFA) presidency.

Olopeng said he felt the time was right for him to resign from his position.  He told Mmegi Sport yesterday that he has been the region’s chairperson since 2009. 

Olopeng said he would make the announcement to First Division North teams at a meeting to be held on January 16 in Francistown.
