BDP central committee to address Mogapi electorate

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) central committee is expected to address party members in Mogapi ward on November 20, following the defection of the ward councillor Joseph Dintwa to the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD).

Dintwa left the ruling party in June, only a month after he was elected to the position of deputy chairman of the BOMASE region. Chairman of the region, Nathaniel Moribame confirmed that the party central committee would descend on the ward next month.

"We have already officially informed the electorate about their councillor's move as the regional committee.
