Former cabinet minister Ramadeluka ‘Ndelu’ Seretse says he has no intentions of dropping out of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairmanship race, to make way for his cousin, Tshekedi Khama.

This week Khama’s supporters told Mmegi that he (Khama) has thrown his hat in the ring and started campaigning for the position through his loyal supporters.

His decision to enter the race means that he is now effectively the front-runner among seven candidates.
