OLM promotes innovation in Science and Technology

In an effort to promote economic development through science and technology, Debswana's Orapa and Letlhakane Mines last week participated in and sponsored to the tune of P20, 000, the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED).

This was an international conference, which was hosted by the University of Botswana (UB) at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).

Orapa and Letlhakane Mines(OLM) public and corporate affairs manager, Kesego Kebelaele, said this partnership is in line with the Debswana's strategic pillar of innovation which emphasises on continuous improvement to promote sustainability.
