FILA rescues Botswana Wrestling Federation trip

The International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) has funded a Botswana delegation to attend its congress in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from September 7-10. Botswana Wrestling Federation (BWF) president, Moagi Sharp told Mmegi Sport they will send representatives to the congress courtesy of assistance from FILA.

He said they approached FILA for assistance as they did not have funds to travel to the congress.

Sharp said had it not been for FILA’s aid, they would have missed the biennial congress.
