Busy schedule for boxing starts

The Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) starts a busy three-week schedule this Saturday with the Keone Mooka Mageu Championships. The annual event takes place in Kang in the Kgalagadi District.

The preliminary stages will be held on Saturday while the semi-finals slated for Sunday though BoBA spokesperson, Mmaotho Segotso said yesterday the schedule may change.

“We might not be able to hold the semi-finals this weekend because we have decided to increase the bouts by including young boxers in this year’s edition,” Segotso explained.
