Bots Race promises a day of fun

Bots Race, a Golden Horses Riding Club initiative now in its third year running, offers Batswana a combination of horse racing and fashion and lifestyle.

One of the event organisers, Chabo Majaha, has said that amongst other things they aim, through the initiative, to encourage riding as a sporting and recreation activity. The Bots Race also promotes fellowship amongst riders.  Majaha said horse breeders from all over the country have been invited to participate in the event. Furthermore, she said they are hoping this year’s event stands out from the previous ones because they have gone out of their way to reach a wide spread number of horse riding enthusiasts a nd horse owner; as well as build hype around the event to create public interest.

“The previous years have been a bit quiet, but this year we have gone out of our way to make sure that we reach as many people as possible. We have also upped the stakes and catered for families to be able to bring their children and enjoy the affair,” she said.
