FRANCISTOWN: A 65-year-old man who allegedly raped four primary school students in Tonota last year between September 9 and 13 failed to appear for mention due to lack of awareness and no transportation.

Sergeant Boikhutso Sekadima on Monday told Chief Magistrate Gaedupe Makgatho that there was no vehicle to transport the pastor, Monametsi Ntekola.

“The accused is not aware of today’s mention. We heard that he was in a field (masimo) near Tonota,” said Sekadima, adding that they will inform the accused of his next mention date set for June 24.
