Vultures' coach pleased with his charges

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Vultures' coach, Neal Gouws believes his team is formidable despite suffering a reversal of fortunes at the hands of South African side, Noordelikes at the weekend.

The rugby squad is preparing for the Confederations Cup in Zimbabwe later this month.

Gouws said the boys put on a spirited fight despite going down 28-10 to the South Africans in Polokwane. "The squad is new and players are still getting used to each other. The team that they were playing against is a formidable side that has won the North-West Province League and they are professionals. Rugby is a top sport in South Africa when compared to here," said Gouws.
