Chinese Children Impress At Maitisong

Westwood International played host to Chinese children showcasing their la­tent talents during a night of song and dance at an event, largely attended by members from within their community on Friday.

Starting off on a high note with a dance treatment, the master of ceremony described the performance as an ‘auspicious blessing’ that left the audience impressed. However, it was an eight-year-old girl who stole the dance performer’s thunder when she played three different instruments in one act.

As if this was not enough, a group of Chi­nese boys and girls later took to the stage to display their art and creative ways of telling a story in another dance and song format.
