Let's assist our brothers and sisters in Haiti

We have all seen the pictures of devastation and massive human suffering flashed across our television screens but the holocaust that turned Haiti upside down ranks as one of the world's worst disasters.

Thousands have lost lives, in fact official estimates put the figure to a staggering 50 000- and still counting. Everyday rescue workers discover dead bodies from the mangle and debris of what now remains as a trail of destruction left in the wake of a massive earthquake.

Amongst the dead are young children, women, old people and worst of all United Nations relief workers and other humanitarian workers who were stationed in Haiti.
