Kalafhi Day Hospital has signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Ever Medical Technologies, a company that specialises in decentralising healthcare data for patients.

As part of the agreement, Kalafhi hospital will use the software from Ever Medical Technologies, called Blockchain Ledger Health Information Exchange (HIE), which will be embedded in the Medical Operating System (MedOS).

Speaking during the signing ceremony on Friday, Kalafhi co-founder Barolong Mouwane said the partnership will help with the growth of the company and will go a long way in giving patients the best service. “This initiative will help the hospital pride itself in being the pioneers and we wish other clinics and hospitals to enrol in this movement,” he said.
