Pop Star Wanna-be Causes Storm At Auditions

A pop star wanna-be, who failed to impress the judges at this year's Botswana Television (Btv) My Star auditions over the weekend caused drama when she flatly refused to accept she had flopped.

The aspiring singer, who introduced herself to the judges as Tebo, sounded to be cruising with wavy pitches in the middle of her choice song, but it was her use of waves in her singing styles that seemed to irk the judges.

The formal looking singer, who said she hailed from Thamaga and Mochudi, was told she would not proceed to the next stage because her singing was out of harmony. She could not take that and immediately told the judges she was not leaving the stage until she had been given a chance to sing again. " I want to sing again, I'm not going anywhere...please, I need this, and I have to sing again..."
