Mixing AIDS talk with Ntsoro

The day will kick off with a panel discussion on seven or so topics covering alcohol and substance abuse, abstinence, stick to one partner and condom use, multiple and concurrent sexual partners, intergenerational and transactional sex, and safe male circumcision. The panel discussion is part of the ministry's Youth Health campaign to commemorate the Month of Youth Against AIDS under the Theme: 'Young, Gifted and Inspired - Monana Yo O Maikarabelo.'
According to ministry spokesman, Themba Sibanda, Ntsoro the comedian will add a bit of laughter to the programme. He is scheduled to give a motivational talk on the day as well as a few jokes from his ever-ending reservoir of humour, which has already seen him adored by Botswana Television (Btv) fans as master of comedy during his Saturday Btv show, Mokaragana. He has also released several comedy DVDs where his Ntsoro character takes the funny side of life to another level.
Ntsoro, real name Joel Keitumele, is one of the six candidates being voted for by the youth countrywide for the honour of Youth Ambassador, where an African television reporter Kitso Masi, a former contestant on Imagine Afrika II, is also in the running. Masi has a glittering portfolio having been previously selected by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (TOYP) for 2009.
Gabz fm popular voice, Tshepo Ntshole, is another contestant for the award.
The other is Kabo Matlho, a local musician who has proven over the years that one can overcome disability as he outperformed the rest in music competitions like Pop Star Botswana. Matlho already has two albums under his belt. HIV/AIDS activist Shirley Keoagile, a Disability HIV and AIDS Trust (DHAT) programmes officer, is also in the race for the ambassadorial honour.
The tough talking woman will also appear at the today's event, giving motivational talk.
The day will also have exhibition of stalls at the ministry's front courtyard popularly known as the 'Fountain'.
The stalls will showcase the available health programmes in the Ministry.
