Kedi captivates judges, audience

Kedibonye clearly impressed on all fronts as evidenced by the judges comments after a captivating performance of Faith Hill's There You Will Be.
Kedi, as the My Star 2010 competitor is affectionately called, glowed with new confidence and a positive energy that was clearly appreciated by the audience who gave her a resounding applause when she appeared on stage. Sid, clearly impressed by Kedi's performance remarked; 'You are very talented.'
In appreciation of a piece well put, Kgomotso described her as our star who is talented, gifted and performing with emotion.However, Master D felt that she could still up her game by trying to own the show.
Vocally, he said, Kedi was a full artist, but he adviced her to be a performer and entertainer as well, not just somebody who people would love to listen to but not necessarily watch on stage. As the three judges clearly acceded, they are set for a challenging time. The fans will also have to do their bit by cellphone texting if their favourites are to win.
The show itself opened with Ave Maria but the judges felt there was something lacking in Ofentse's performance.
Kgomotso described her as too soft in her performance and still inaudible.Tebogo staged a beautiful performance by his namesake Tebogo Tlhagadikgora the 2008 My Star winner and 2009 BOMU award winner in the Best R&B category.

Atamelang, the rock hairstyle fanatic was labelled simply the best, better than all the rest in her role as a performer, entertainer and comedian. Kgomotso was clearly impressed.
She had performed Tina Turner's Simply The Best and gave the show a brilliant closing, setting the audience to a unanimous sway of bodies in response to her indisputable talent.
