Ryushin-Kan training session
Ryushin-Kan karate style will host a final training session at Tlogatloga Junior Secondary School for the team that will represent the country at the Ryushin-Kan tournament in Port Elizabeth, South Africa next month. The karatekas will display skills to their parents and members of the public in kata and kumite.

Women softball league ends
The women softball league comes to an end this  weekend with five matches on the cards. Tomorrow, Police XI play BMC while Panthers face Vikings. After taking on Police XI, BMC will confront Bears in their second match of the day. On Sunday, Police play Vikings with Dinare facing BDF XI. Vikings clash with Bears to mark the end  of the league. All the games will be at the National Diamond in Gaborone. Meanwhile, the men softball league takes a break this weekend.

Appeal for soccer balls  
The Deaf Wild African soccer club is appealing for ball donations from the public. The club wants the balls to fulfill its dream of playing football. The club is composed of 30 members, most of whom are unemployed.
