"We have been invited to Namibia for their independence celebrations on 21 March. We will leave on Friday, play them on Saturday and then come back," said Zebras'coach Stan Tshosane. The Zebras host Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the first leg of CHAN this weekend while Namibia's Brave Warriors take on Seychelles. The return legs will be played in two weeks time. Zebras are likely to get a good preparatory platform from a Namibia side that held South Africa to a 1-1 draw in a friendly international at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban last Wednesday.

Tshosane is happy with the team's preparations ahead of the CHAN qualifiers. "Our preparations are going on well and I'm seeing an improvement in the way the players apply themselves on the field of play. They did well last week against a Mozambique side that had seven players who were at the AFCON in January," he said. The Zebras beat the Mambas 1-0 in the friendly international in Maputo last Wednesday.
