Tshosane calls for Support

Newly appointed Zebras coach, Stanley Tshosane has said that he is equally concerned about the poor performance of the national team, but with the support of the nation, the situation can change.

He explained that after a selection process which started last year, he has finally come up with a final list of players. He has forwarded the list to the Botswana Football Association (BFA) technical director, Losika Keatlholetswe.
Tshosane said his list is not exhaustive as the door remains open to other players. The coach is expected to submit his road map to BFA. He has made it clear that he will accommodate constructive criticism. BFA president, David Fani said that the process of appointing the Zebras' technical team to work with Tshosane is still on. He stated that they have asked the coach to make recommendations regarding the appointments.
Fani said they selected Tshosane to continue guiding the Zebras because he was the best among seven candidates. Fani said that Tshosane who has been interim Zebras coach has two advantages over the other candidates - qualifications and experience.
His immediate assignments include the 2010 COSAFA Senior Challenge Cup and the qualifying matches for the African Nations Championship and Africa Cup of Nations, both of which start next year.
