BSA in bid to raise P40,000 for national team

The Botswana Softball Association (BSA) hopes to raise P40,000 for the participation of the national women softball team in the World Championships in Caracas, Venezuela from June 23 to July 2.

The BSA will host a fundraising and farewell dinner for the team in Gaborone tomorrow. Former BSA president, Andrew Mokoto, will be the guest speaker at the dinner.

BSA president, Marumo Morule said they have bought air tickets and secured money for accommodation. He said they look forward to raising between P35,000 and P40,000 at the dinner. He said the BSA selected a team in time and secured of the provisions required by the players.
