Gongmaster, known as Mponang Ketshabile and Ditiro, had released an album titled Makanyane. They have now released the sophomore work, a sequence to the precursor.

The album titled Makanyane Vol.2 starts off with a track called Botsotsi, which refers to tricksters who cheat people. The second track, Kgarebe, which talks about a village belle whose beauty attracts a lot of young men. She is portrayed as a young woman of high moral standing, who despite of the material riches she is promised by her pursuers, continues to shrug them off, because "she has her own boyfriend," Gongmaster's voice booms. When you listen to this song and compare it to what happens in a lot of love relationships, where cheating has become so entrenched such that people are beginning to accept it as a natural thing, hence the coining of the word 'small house' to refer to a concubine. This kind of song would definitely serve as a reminder to those philandering lovers out there that it is possible to stick to one partner and love them endlessly.

The third track, Marena is a self-praise song. The duo, who call themselves Makanyane, animals which prey on their quarry until they (victims) die, say as Makanyane, they are great singers, lords of song who have no equal when it comes to singing. For anyone who doubts them, they are given a reference: "consult the people of Ngwaketse," they say as they sing. The whole album might prove a good listen, especially for those who enjoyed its precursor, Makanyane.

Other songs are Setlhako, Smallboy, Jorotane, Pelo and lefufa. The album is recorded at Dargie Digital Studios, whilst the songs were composed and arranged by Gongmaster and Ditiro, with Robert Dargie handling the percussions.
