Fighters' defeat shocked us - Mgadla

Gaborone United (GU) midfielder, Mandla Mgadla has said they were shocked by the 2-1 loss to Mogoditshane Fighters in the quarter-finals of the Coca-Cola Cup.

The player conceded that personally he is in great agony because he lost to his former team when GU are desperately looking to win the competition for the first time. "We were shocked.

"This was my worst loss since I joined GU. I was left speechless but this is football," Mgadla said. The speedy player stated that GU underrated the former giants who are now campaigning in the First Division and paid the price.
