GTC beauty programme proves popular

The Gaborone Technical College's beauty and hairdressing department has proved to be an instant hit after students and general society alike discovered they can be pampered and look good for a minimal fee.

During the recent Botswana Tertiary Education Fair, beauty and hairdressing students from GTC practiced their manicures and pedicures skills on a willing clientele.

"We always get overwhelmed by many people when we attend events like this one, which is very good for our students as they get to practice more. It also gives the students and the programme more exposure," said one of the beauty therapy lecturers Sylvia Nyandoro.
