Dr Shuvra Is Qualified And Competent

This serves as a response to the article in The Monitor of March 15, entitled Marina Hires Dr Death.

The hospital would like to clarify that the doctor in question went through the relevant recruitment process of the Ministry of Health. She went through an interview and screening for registration by the Botswana Health Professionals Council.

It is important that we emphasise that Dr Shuvra, who resumed duty in February this year, was hired because of the competencies she demonstrated during her interviews and the evidence of her qualifications. The panel that interviewed her deemed her fit for this particular job.
