Chiefs' striker, Sekhana 'Nandos' Koko was in sparkling form as he masterminded his team's victory over Rollers. The flying forward tormented the Rollers backline at will and scored the first goal, which brought his side back into the game.  Despite his virtuoso performance and his known talent, Koko woke up on Monday to find that his name was missing from the list of national team players for the African Championships (CHAN) tie against South Africa next month.

The appointment of Tumelo Serufho as the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) chief executive officer is a welcome development. The appointment provides Serufho with the platform to showcase his leadership skills after serving as Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) research and projects officer. What immediately comes to mind is the London 2012 Olympics, which should provide a stern leadership test for Serufho. The country needs to send a team that will not only make numbers, but compete.
