Merafhe back at work today

Vice-President, Mompati Merafhe, returns to work today, after four months of absence due to ill health.

A statement from the Office of the President issued on Friday said Merafhe went for a final medical check-up on Thursday and was declared fit to resume work. "It is with great pleasure to announce that His Honour has been declared fit to return to work...President Ian Khama, has therefore agreed that the VP officially resume work on May 9, 2011," said the statement from the OP.

"His Excellency would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who gave their support and comfort to His Honour and his family during those difficult times, when he underwent medical treatment.
