Barclays fires Johnson?

Officials at Barclays Bank of Botswana will not respond to the rumor, but inside sources are adamant that they have reliable information that the bank's managing director, Thuli Johnson, has been sacked.

Sources say the bad news was delivered to him by senior bank officials from Dubai. Barclays Bank Botswana's head of corporate affairs, Esther Noriss, asked if it is true that Johnson was fired, she said she had no comment.
"No comment".

"Will you confirm if senior bank executives from Dubai are in Botswana?" Norris was asked.
