The long awaited merger between the Botswana Alliance Movement (BAM) and Botswana Congress Party (BCP) into one party will be introduced to the public at a press conference in Gaborone today.

In a press statement, information and publicity secretary, Dumelang Saleshando, said party presidents ,Gilson Saleshando (BCP) and Ephraim Setshwaelo (BAM) and their executive committees will address the media about the merger at the Botswana National Productivity Centre building.

"The purpose of the press conference is to report on the progress made with regard to BAM-BCP merger into a single political party," said Saleshando.
