Kgosi Seepapitso dies

Kgosi Seepapitso IV of Bangwaketse has died.

A member of the family said yesterday that the Chief died at the Gaborone Private Hospital after being ill for sometime. Born Seepapitso Bathoeng Gaseitsewe he was the son of the late Chief Bathoen II.  Kgosi Seepapitso has served the nation not only as Kgosi and Chairman of the house of Chiefs for a long time, but also served as Botswana's Ambassador, first to the United States and then to China.
