Mogae and his company got wind of an emergency general meeting of 21st Century Holdings where a resolution to remove Mpuchane, Letshwiti, Maphanyane and Khupe as directors of the company on June 10, 2008, was to be mooted. They then approached the court on June 9 on an urgent application to forestall the resolution from being taken by Tibone and Lekalake. The applicants - Mogae and company - succeeded in the application.
Lawyer Tshepiso Lediretse represents Mogae's camp, while South African attorney, Cyril Ziman, represents Tibone, Lekalake, Liyanda Lekalake and 21st Century Holdings.
Efforts to get a comment from the Registrar and Master of High Court, Godfrey Nthomiwa, were unsuccessful as he was said to be in a meeting. The date of the next appearance is still to be decided.
