A reunion for social mores

Serowe will be treated to a two-day cultural family reunion, which promises to tackle an array of issues affecting society.

The fourth Ghetto Urban Designs Annual Cultural and Family Reunion scheduled for March 30 to 31 at Kennedy Farm will feature a workshop and exhibition.  Themed My Family Towards Nation Building, the event will also have a cultural festival, and a dinner whereby participants will be awarded certificates of participation.

 Ghetto Urban Designs Managing Director, Thato Sebati, said the main purpose of the event is to celebrate the importance of culture and family.  Sebati explained that the days’ activities would include a workshop, where issues of health, youth and elections, vision 2016, education, role of the church in the community, price fixing and the role of traditional leadership in the society will be discussed.
