Segolame Ramotlhwa, a seasoned administrator, was removed from Botswana Football Association (BFA) post this week, continuing a persistent love-hate relationship spurning more than a decade.

Ramotlhwa has been part of the BFA administration for a lengthy period, serving under the last three of the four presidents. But, he has been notably been at variance with two presidents he recently served under.

He was the only surviving member when David Fani’s camp swept the stakes in the 2008 election, defeating then incumbent, Phillip Makgalemele.
