MPs condemn wildlife buffer fences

Members of Parliament for Maun and Boteti on Thursday poured scorn on the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to protect arable farming from wildlife through the buffer fences. They dismissed the initiative as a failure.


Boteti MP Slumber Tsogwane complained that the buffer fence in his constituency is blocking livestock from accessing drinking holes and wondered how Christian de Graaf’s ministry expects their animals to survive without water.
