Mares to make Francistown debut

The team has over the years used the National Stadium and the Lobatse Sports Complex as their home ground. But on October 8 they will make their first appearance in the 'Ghetto' against Shepolopolo.
The arena has been a haven for the Zebras over the years. It holds the record number of attendance as in 2015, where 26,262 paid to watch the Zebras' 1-0 win, against Mali. Speaking to Mmegi Sport, Botswana Football Association (BFA) public relations officer, Tumo Mpatane hopes the euphoria will cascade down to the Mares in the crucial clash. Mpatane said the move was forced by the unavailability of the National Stadium on the day.
