No decision on prize money as BTC confirms P5m cut

The Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) has cut its sponsorship figure for the Botswana Premier League (BPL) from P13 million to P5million, the company's commercial officer, Edward Wicks told the media on Wednesday.

BTC cut the figure as the telecommunications company, felt it was not getting expected returns from the P39 million deal.

As a result there has been no decision on the prize money, which has stood at P1.3 million for the winners.
