Hospitalised Kumakwane murder suspect recovering

The man, who attempted suicide after killing his girlfriend in front of their teenage son, is believed to be recovering at Thamaga Primary Hospital.

The 42-year-old man killed his 39-year-old girlfriend in front of their 13-year-old son on Tuesday night at Kumakwane village. Thamaga police station commander superintendent Moses Kwarare said the suspect is recovering from injuries he sustained from the suicide attempt.

“He sustained injuries on the neck from the wire that he wanted to hang himself with,” Kwarare said.
