South African violence: Batswana cautioned

The Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation wishes advises all Batswana traveling to South Africa to exercise extreme caution in light of recent developments resulting in violent unrests in some parts of the Republic of South Africa. 

A statement from the Ministry says it is reported that areas of unrest include Pretoria Central Business District, Marabastad, Johannesburg Central Business District, Hillbrow, Turfontein, Jeppestown, Malvern and Tembisa.

The Ministry further cautions Batswana residing in South Africa to also avoid areas where unrests are currently occurring and encourages them to remain vigilant at all times.
