Bulb World Sets Up Factory In S/Phikwe

Bulb World, a LED light bulb manufacturing company owned by young entrepreneur Ketshephaone Jacob, has set up a factory in Selebi-Phikwe through the assistance of government.

The company currently has six staff members at its main office in Gaborone and 30 others at the factory, all youth. Bulb World has the capacity to produce 20,000 LED lights per day.

According to Jacob, the company was set up in 2016, but delays in purchasing equipment for the factory set back operations of the company, which only started production this year.
