Kweneng cultural fest to resuscitate culture

Organisers of the Kweneng Cultural Festival and Family Fun Day have taken it upon themselves to resuscitate the Setswana culture through the annual event to be held at Suping ward in Molepolole on Saturday and Sunday.

In an interview event organiser, Joel Mosimanyana also known by his stage name DJ Spitz Phoenix said the festival will be filled with rich Setswana song and dance like dikhwaere, setapa and mmino wa katara ya Setswana. 

Mosimanyana said there would also be traditional games such as mhele, diketo, koi, skontiball and many others suitable for children and adults.  Other amusements will be wire mesh cars (dikoloi tsa terata), jumping castle and face painting. Culture enthusiasts are expected to brighten the day with exquisite and colourful Setswana attire.
