Financial Literacy Paramount For Youth, Public

With a mandate to equip youth and the general public with the importance of being financially literate, Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) CEO, Thapelo Tsheole said that the BSE annual Senior Secondary School Finance & Investment Competition is scheduled for August 17, 2019.

To be held under the theme, Importance of a Financial-Literate Botswana, Tsheole pointed out that it will be a ceremony celebrating excellence, diligence and commitment through their annual youth-focused flagship initiative.

Speaking during the official August 2019 opening bell ceremony, he stated that it does not only give him great pleasure to not only recognise the hard-work and achievements of last year’s winners, but to also shed light on the importance of promoting financial education in the society, especially at grass-root level.
