Mochudi Centre Chiefs general membership on Saturday resolved to hold an annual general meeting on August 17 to elect an interim committee, which will lead the Kgatleng giants going forward.

The club has for the past years seen peace elude it, with two factions led by Raymond Tsheko and Ramocha Tsieng respectively fighting for control of the club. The team managed to hold its first meeting on Saturday at Molefhi Senior Secondary School since their relegation to the lower division. The two warring factions have since reached a common ground after Kgosi Bana Sekai Linchwe managed to reconcile the two.

At the meeting, which he attended, Sekai urged the general membership “to forget the past” and hold an AGM for the purpose of electing an interim committee as the team prepares for the start of league season.
