Down to only 15 girls after an intensive cutting down from 30, the search for this year’s Miss Earth queen nears the end. In a boot camp held this past weekend at Mokolodi, the Miss Earth organising team brought the girls together.

They were taught about self-defence, and how to behave generally as beauty queens.

When speaking to Show Time, one of the organisers, Osego Maseko said it was only right that they did this because their main mandate was to make sure the girls are trained before the finale. “We have a few training sessions lined up for them this weekend for them to learn the fundamentals of being a beauty queen,” said Maseko.
