The women’s volleyball team has found no favours in Cairo, Egypt after suffering successive defeats at the ongoing Africa Nations Championships.

The competition kicked off on Tuesday and ends on Sunday. But Botswana has already suffered damaging 3-0 defeats to Cameroon and Kenya.

Botswana is in Group B with defending champions Cameroon, Algeria and Kenya.  It was beaten 3-0 by Cameroon in the first match before going down to Kenya by a similar score line. Botswana was scheduled to play against another powerhouse, Algeria yesterday.
